Nail Files

It has been forever sense I have linked up with Vicki for her weekly Nail Files.
That's why I'm going to show just a few looks from the last couple of weeks.

Too bad these are suppose to be flowers....not sun's.

Well there you have it...

Day at the North Shore

The swells have been enormous lately! We didn't stop and see any surfers (too crowded) but we did want to check out the waves.

Paddle boarding at one of my favorite spots. Last time Mike and I went,  there were NO turtles what so ever.
This time just made up for last...I guess

There were tons of them sunning themselves.
Another amazing day on this beautiful island.

Whale Watching Cruse

Because whale watching season is quickly coming to a end, it was a must that we hurried up and made it happen.

Mama and Baby
Diamond Head
Sadly we did not have any tail action from the whales. Kinda disappointed about that.
Maybe next time.
(If anyone is wondering....YES, I do get sea sick)

Sheba had come along way. She is from a place (so we were told) of a family that had her for about 8 years of her life. Sadly a divorce split them up and neither one of the people wanted to keep her. She some how was given to Mikes mother and she came to live with us about 3 years after that. We have been so blessed to have such a sweet dog. Even though these last few years have been tough. Losing her hearing and sight, ear infections, skin problems, Alzheimer's and arthritis, she has been strong with a fight to live. I truly do think if she wasn't with us, she wouldn't have made it as long as she did.
Sheba has traveled many miles, lived in 6 different homes, in 3 different states and seen 2 oceans in 4 years. She was such a trooper with it all.
These last couple of days I had been looking at her differently. Her fight to live was dwindling and her problems seem to have gotten worse. I felt like I was keeping her for my happiness and not her own. It was the hardest decision I think I have ever had to make.
My home is now a little more empty and my heart has a piece missing from it.
I will never forget this puppy. She will be truly missed.
