Packing....ugg

How in the world did Mike and I accumulate so much crap? I am really wishing we would have never had that second shipment delivered or I would only be moving 4 suitcases instead of all of this.  And this isn't everything! Dog crated, dog beds and a few other things are still needing to make their way to the pile. Right now I'm wishing I could throw it all away.

 Good Bye Aiea!

Random...

Iv been trying to keep buys these last couple of days. I got the dogs all squared away with the Game Warden on base. So now once we get a house I wont have to worry about doing that. Also I went and had my car safety checked. Gosh! What a headache! I knew that it wasn't going to have a good outcome just because I was aware of all the things that needed to be done. I have to figure out my reverse light problem. I was told that it wasn't the bulbs but something with the wiring. (a lot of money) also, and what I am most upset about is my window tint. I like people not being able to see in my car. I don't have old truckers staring in my window at a stoplight, or if I leave something somewhat valuable in the backseat, I don't have to worry that it wont be there when I get back. I don't get why I am seeing window tints way darker then mine driving around out here to? I wanna go where they get their safety check done because obviously the place doesn't care if they have it. I heard that its $250 per window if you get pulled over though, and I have my windows down most of the time anyways so I guess it wouldn't matter to take it off.
Yesterday I met a friend for lunch. Mike and her husband went to Engineer school in Camp Lejeune together so I knew her from there. They are both now in the same company so they are both gone at the moment. Shes kinda in the same boat as I am so its nice to see how she is handling things.
Iv been busy getting things ready for the move. All the stuff we had in North Carolina came to us in these HUGE boxes that would never fit in my car, so I'm going through them and trying to make it a little easier for when the day comes. I drove past the new place and cant help but get excited! There is so much to do around there.
A long time ago I saw that someone did this on Pintrest with their dog. I though it was cute and kept meaning to do it and finally......its done! Sheba's had to be done twice. She has so much hair in between her toes that it was tricky. Half of Bolos pad is missing but I think it still looks OK. Can you tell I love my dogs a little to much?

Link Up

7 Questions Link up is back! Start with a funny photo of yourself,  answer these 7 questions, then link up with Gentri Lee!

This was a bad night out..

1. Would you rather have your life be a constant vacation or always stay home?
I like to always be doing something, seeing new things and going on a adventure. As long as the
"vacation" spot can change I wouldn't mind it.

 2. What is your favorite book? (it can be any book! cook book, picture book, whatever!)
Where the side walk ends... It reminds me of when I was little.

3. You have to be on a reality tv show- which would you chose?
Survivor! The places are amazing and I could stand to loose some lbs.

4. What is your favorite form of exercise? (running, zumba, step, etc)
ugg... none... I pretend that I can run

5. What is one thing that you've never tried but are CONVINCED you hate? (foods, activities, etc)
Veal... will never try! Its the thought of what it is.

6. Do you have any hidden talents?
Flexible fingers? (I can do this on both hands) (not sure if this is really a talent)

7. What's the best prank you've ever pulled?
gosh that's a hard one!  I'm not really a prankster.

Happy Easter

  Happy Easter!!!

I love this holiday, (one of my top 3) but today it doesn't feel that special. No family time, wonderful food or memories. I just found out it was this Sunday 2 days ago. That's how out of it I am. But I am trying to make the best of it. Bolo and I walked down to the park and sat in the shade for a good 45 min an took it all it.
Mike called yesterday for the first time. We couldn't really talk to much because the phone had such bad reception. I could only hear bits and pieces of what he was saying.  I didn't want to keep saying "what" and "can you say it again" so I just listened and tried to make out what I could hear. He is able to text now too, so that's better then nothing. The time change is so different then here so I wake up to them now. He wrote last night that he had taken his fist shower sense they had gotten there and it was amazing. Week and a few days....ew.
Him being gone is really making me think about finding a job. I have sent my paperwork into the state for my change of license, but it is taking forever! I started to look at few things on Craigslist but am not really seeing anything that is jumping out at me. I guess a lot of hair salons do more chair rentals here. I'm just not use to that, and it kind of makes me nervous.  If it comes down to it I will just have to suck it up and try it out. Also everyone out here has hair down to their butt. They sure don't get haircuts regularly like I would want them to. Contemplating that maybe I should look into doing something else. I don't know anymore.
I am trying to keep myself busy so another craft has been done.  I'm not quite sure if I would ever hang this anywhere once we get a place but it kept me busy and right now that is all I care about.
I have a list of thing I need to start getting done before we move hotels. I need to get out of this funk I'm in and get my butt moving cause I only have a few days left.

Love

Crafy Time!

I saw this awesome wreath on Pintrest a little bit ago. So I decided to remake it. Sky did a really good job on explaining the steps on how she made this. I did do a little things different, but it ends up looking the same. For me it wont just be a Memorial Day/ Labor Day wreath, it will probably be a all year around one... once I have a door to hang it on. It was fun and easy and I cant wait to display it!  :)

Finally!!!

Yes people!... It has finally happened!!! My stress and worries are no longer! I found a place to live while waiting for housing! I cant believe it. Now I don't know what to do with myself. No more Craigslist checking 100 times a day hoping that someone will post something new that would meet our criteria. (what am I going to do with my time now?)  I move in just a couple days. I haven't seen inside the hotel yet (yes another hotel) only pictures but those seem nice. Steps away from the beach! What more could you ask for? I think its going to be a little farther for Mike to drive to work everyday but he will just suck it up. I have yet to talk to him so he has no clue whats going on.  If he doesn't like it TOO BAD! I know he will be fine with it though. As long as we have a roof over our head everything is good. He lives in the feild for days at a time so anything would be better then that. Now my next step is starting to pack. We had our stuff from North Carolina delivered to us here which I am now regretting. Its a lot of crap that we will probably never need here. Lots of Mikes papers and books from school, winter clothes, and cheap kitchen stuff we bought just to get us by.  I will just make a ton of trips with my little car back and forth till its done.  I'm excited about it! Another new location to check out. This spot is going to be A LOT more fun too! I don't mind were I am staying now. The people are so nice and my hotel is a good size but there is not much to do around me. Also being alone when I am walking Bolo is probably not the best idea here either. Sketchy people!

I refuse to sit in my hotel and watch TV all day long. I don't want to waist away this month just because my husband isn't with me. Today I took a little drive.  I tried to do things that Mike would not really be thrilled about doing.

First I stopped at the  National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. Absolutely beautiful!
(Mike would probably like to see this one)

Next, because it was only short drive from were I was... I went past Da Kine Bail Bonds. (Dog the Bounty Hunter) Yes, I am such a tourist! I couldn't take a picture thought because there were no parking spots and traffic was busy. Mike will just have to suck it up and come with me for that one.
After that I swung by the Capitol Building.

After that I drove all the way to the Byodo-in Temple. I was really excited about this because the pictures that I have seen looked really neat! Little did I know, the internet lied when they said that it would be free to get in. Wrong... $3.00. Too bad I had absolutely NO cash on me whats so ever. So I left and am saving that for another day too.  This is a beautiful monument in the area were the Temple was.

  Good day today!

I cant believe that it is only April 5th though. Why is it taking so long?

Dad's Birthday Package

Its my dads birthday on Wednesday and I never know what to get him.  I usually get him the same thing every year for his Birthday, Christmas and Fathers Day.  A Lowe's gift card. I know that he could always find something that he needs there because they are adding on/remodeling their home. Well this year is a little different because I don't have a job. So I thought I could send a package of a few goodies that the island has to offer.
(I'm taking a chance on the chocolate not melting.)

Day Out

I went to bed so early last night that I woke up bright and early today. I decided to venture out with Bolo because we both don't want to sit home on such a beautiful day.  If anyone has ever met my dog they know that he has a lot of energy! He is a mature adult that acts like a puppy when he is in the car. We don't do a lot of car rides just because he is kind of a jerk when hes in it. He loudly barks for the first 10 minutes to the point where you don't want to roll down any windows and you want to cover your face while you drive because your so embarrassed. Every time you stop at a stop light, the barking starts again so you pray that the light turns green before you get to it.
Mike got Bolo while he was still at college so there was not a lot of car time for him to get use to. He gets so excited when he gets in, its almost like a panic attack. So on that note, we don't really take him everywhere that we could. If we are out somewhere that he could be I feel bad that he is not with us. So it is now my goal to get him better in the car.
I decided that today we would travel to The Makapu‘u Point trail, just because I had been there before and I knew what I was getting myself in to. I wouldn't mind going to other trails but I
don't want to go into some jungle and not be able to find my way back when I am all alone.
Getting closer to where the trail is, I am noticing that there are a lot of car's lined on the side of the road taking pictures of the scenic views. Finally arriving to our destination and laughing at myself because all of Oahu is in the parking lot... I drove right past. (what was i thinking going on a sunday) We found a beach down the road a little and I parked so he could get out and have some fun. I wasn't planning on him getting wet so I brought no towels with me.
So afterwards a bath for the pup and a cleaning of the car.

Its hard to see them but I swear theses are the kind of fish that they sell in the pets stores!

A foot of water...clear as day.

It has felt like the longest day ever today. That's not a good sign because I'm trying to wish this month away.
