This is the park that I was looking for and could not find. I forced my husband to find it with me this weekend so I could see what all the Yelp reviews were about.
It is a beautiful park....right next to the freeway...but still pretty.
The park is known for the Hitachi Trees.

The trees in this park are all over 130 years old.
The Hitachi tree has been named the most exceptional tree in Hawaii.

Beautiful park that was kinda hard to find. For some reason the website for this park has the wrong address for it. Not really sure what that's about?

ReplyDeleteI was just over near that park today. I had heard that there was a pretty good dog park there, but since it had been a little drizzly, it was muddy and buggy. I wasn't impressed. The rest of the park looks beautiful though, maybe I'll have to check it out on a better day.
