North Shore Trip

 Laie Hawaii Temple: Mormon Temple.
What a beautiful place this is. It was a pretty cloudy day, so my pictures didn't come out that great.

Stopping at a few beaches along the way. The clouds started to
disappear.

We are going to save the falls for another day.

This is one of the Sacred sites that is dedicated to Lono, one of the Hawaiian gods.

The destination:  There were many honu swimming near the shore. Just two came out to eat though.

Nail Files

I'm linking up today with Vicki over at myvickiliciouslife. She does a weekly linkup to show all the pretty nails out there.

For some reason my camera did not like the lighting or something because this is a horrible fuzzy picture.

Family Day

We headed to Bellows Beach today for the Battalion's Family Day. Even though it was cloudy and sprinkling pretty much the whole time we were there, it still was such a beautiful beach. We will definitely be heading back here on a sunnier day to enjoy it.

So many fun things to do for the kids. Too bad I don't have any :(

Raffle drawings were going on the whole time for some really cool stuff. I thought for sure we would walk away with something..I was wrong.

 Overall... good day

 6. What do you want to be when you grow up?
A mommy....I have also been thinking of changing my career lately, haven't really decided on it yet tho.

7. Do you set your clocks right on time, or a few minutes ahead or behind?
I used to set them fast always but now that every clock does it for you I kinda have no option

Sunday Fun Day

Mike and I headed to the Marina today for little kayak trip. Coconut Island was our destination. (It was used as the opening intro to the show Gilligan's Island.) It is a private island that is used for Marine Biology research so we weren't allowed to explore it but the beach was sure nice.
The island from a distance.
Moku O Lo'e is the real name of the island but I cant pronounce it so I call it it's nickname instead.

 Heading back to base.

Day Drive

I took a quick little drive today around the southern part of the island after running a few errands.  First stop was the well known blow hole lookout. It wasn't that crowded so I had enough patience to stand there awhile and wait for the sprays.

After that another quick stop at the Makapi'u Lookout. Getting out of my car and seeing stacked
rocks all over the place was interesting. After looking up a little info about these rocks, I found that Hawaiians build these to show respect to the gods, it also says that other people build them for spiritual reasons. Come to find out that in some places it is illegal to do this because they are making the scientific study harder for researchers.

Mu-Ryang-Sa Buddhist Temple

Korean Buddhist Temple is a hidden gem right in Honolulu. Not many tourists know about this spot so when I went it was deserted, (except for the landscapers) I walked around and took it all in.

Such a amazing place! My camera does not even come close to capturing all of the colors that made this place so beautiful.
