I took a quick little drive today around the southern part of the island after running a few errands. First stop was the well known blow hole lookout. It wasn't that crowded so I had enough patience to stand there awhile and wait for the sprays.
After that another quick stop at the Makapi'u Lookout. Getting out of my car and seeing stacked
rocks all over the place was interesting. After looking up a little info about these rocks, I found that Hawaiians build these to show respect to the gods, it also says that other people build them for spiritual reasons. Come to find out that in some places it is illegal to do this because they are making the scientific study harder for researchers.
Wow...those views are amazing.
