One of these days I will get this post up on the day that she actually turns her new age.
Emma has been a handful this past month. So many new things have started that it has been hard for me to keep up with her.
~She has been low crawling her heart out. I'm not sure if I'm ready for a full on crawler because its hard to keep up with her now at this pace.
~Still loving all her foods. Prunes, pears, green beans, peas, and squash seem to still be her favorites....cant forget about oranges too!
~She loves to be sung to. She stares at me mouth open in a daze.
~This next topic I would love some advice on.
My child doesn't no how to do this very well.
Sleeping.
I haven't had a full night sleep in over 8 months.
She has her last meal around 6. We take Bolo for a walk after that,
then story time. Ill nurse her and she usually falls asleep in my arms.
She
usually wakes up once again as I am putting her down in her crib and
has another crying fit for a few minutes... if I'm lucky then dozes off.
But after that I am probably up a good 5-8 times throughout the night.
She nurses, then falls right back to sleep but it just doesn't seem normal for her to be up so many times. I have tried just letting her cry it out and she has now thrown up on herself twice from the screaming. (and that just makes everything worse when I have to change her sheets) I have tried a noise machine. The longest it can be set for is a hour and it seems the moment it shuts off she is awake again so I don't always like to put it on.
She has also started waking up at around 5. I'm talking wide awake. This is killing me!
I don't know what else to do. If anyone has any ideas I would love to give them a try...or I might go mental.
~She now officially has grown two teeth. Those things are like knives!
~She is becoming a stubborn little lady. She wants it her way or no way.
~She is in love with Bolo. If he is around she will not take her eyes off of him let alone if he is next to us. That means she is touching, climbing, patting and squealing with excitement.
~Emma is totally and completely done with pacifiers. She wants nothing to do with the weird rubbery things in her mouth anymore. It seemed like it happened overnight.
~She has learned how to splash in the bath tub. I'm just just talking splash here and there, I'm talking during the whole bath. Its like she cant control her arms. I am soaking wet and there is water all over the floor.
I feel like I have been slaking on this blog lately.
