Two First's

Before
One of my projects. Looks better stained...hu
Today I finally finished the front porch. Its the first space in my home that I am 100% done with. The other rooms are coming along but I am missing a few finishing touches.  So what do you think?
After
I'm glad I have this checked off of my list. I was sick of looking at how boring it use to be.

Mike and I went for a little bike ride today also. Growing up in the 80s/early 90s (I don't know about anyone else) we never wore helmets. It was just not something that any of my friends had on nor did anyone's parents care about really. Living on base it is a rule to wear one so we went and purchased our first helmets (at the age of 27) so our bikes would not go to waste.

We had a over all good day today.

Ps. Who already ordered there Halloween Costume???  I did!

  4. Awesome job! :) As for the helmets.... Hahahaha! That is one of the many base rules that are a bit annoying. Like you said never owned one frowing up except for riding dirt bikes! But what a gorgeous view for being on base! :)

Biking is a big deal out here as it was on Schofield and I want to get on here and ride but I just got to bite the bullet and wear the darn helmet. So unstylish lol don't ya think. But I guess when your getting your work out on your not suppose to look pretty.
