We decided to take a tour on the Wailua river.
This is the only navigable river in Hawaii.
We could have kayaked but we didn't know how long it would take and we had to catch a flight.
There is a trail that leads to a waterfall and then there is a fern grotto.
The trail is a 2 mile hike in so we opted on the fern grotto just to play our time crunch safe.
This is the wettest place in the U.S.
And one of the wettest places in the world.
The older gentlemen on the left was a actor in The Blue Hawaiian with Elvis.
The place where they filmed the "Mutobi, Africa" scene in the movie Outbreak.
I am glad we had a chance to see this beautiful place.
