Manoa Lyon Arboretum

I took Emma for a quick little hike in Manoa Valley.

I had been here about a year ago a little after Emma was born. This was one of her first outings. 

Last time we didn't make it all the way to the waterfall.  So this time it was a must.

 These tree roots are so cool. 

Anyone remember them from Jarassic Park Movie?

 Only in Hawaii

 While we were here it was raining...hard . I thought for sure the falls would be flowing heavy......

 and it was just a trickle

 For some reason I was expecting the falls to be smaller in height. I was quite surprised walking up and seeing a pretty large waterfall shoot.

Beautiful day in the jungle.
