3rd Day - Kauai

After the Kilauea Lighthouse and Queens Bath we continued heading north.

 We stopped at a few placed to enjoyed the view.

We finally made it to the end or the road (and finally found a parking spot). To go any farther is all on foot....

 a boat or helicopter.

It is a 11 mile hike that has spectacular views.

The plan was to hike 2 miles in to the first beach but we opted not to and went to the beach right next to the trial head. 

Ke'e Beach has been used in quite a few movies.  

and is the most visited beach on Kauai.

After a little time at Ke'e we had one last stop.

There were a few movies filmed here also.

 It was really hot on the beach and we didn't have any shade so we played in the water for a little and called it a day.

 We ate dinner and just relaxed.
