I had to do what every mother with a baby turning ONE does...let them smash cake in their face.
Emma on the other hand didn't really want anything to do with it. She stuck her hand in the frosting and ate a few of the candy's off of the top but after that she was about done with it.
Very surprising to me because she is usually a mess during dinner time.
And this is her "done" pose....right before she starts screaming to getup.
I still cant believe I have a 1 year old!
Awh, There's something about a babies first birthday thats so fun!!!! Happy 1st Birthday little Emma!!!!

ReplyDeleteI love the backdrop! Really cute! Evelyn wasn't really into her cake either. I let her have some doughnut after church on Sunday though, and she was totally into that! ;-)
ReplyDeleteShe can't be One!!! So a friend of mine, her daughter was very similar, they usually didn't allow her to have sweets. So I was taking pictures for them and her dad actually smashed it in her face (lightly!!) and then she was ready to dive in. LOL. It was like, okay dad approves let me have it :)
